The year in pictures

2007-08 was one of the most successful years in the history of the DKC. Our Speakers Series brought out members and ministers from both the provincial and federal governments. Often we met in small, cozy settings which allowed us to have real conversations with our guests. We plan to redouble our efforts next year to bring out even more politicians, thinkers, and organizers. Below are some photographs from our events.

Premier Rodney MacDonald with our members

The Hon. Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence, with students from our association

Former Nova Scotian Premier Dr. John Hamm chats with a few of our members

The Hon. David Morse, Minister of Natural Resources, came to talk with us in late 2007

DKC President Tyler Dennis shakes hands with the Hon. Cecil Clarke, Minister of Justice, during a visit in February

The Hon. Mark Parent, Minister of Environment and Labour, came out to talk to us in February

Welcome to our site

Welcome to the website of the Dalhousie-King's Conservatives, one of the most active societies on the Dal and King's campuses here in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Our group is one of the few safe havens for people who believe in democracy, liberty and free markets. We support both the Progressive Conservative Party of Nova Scotia and the Conservative Party of Canada, and boast a committed and activist membership.

If you are interested in joining us or helping out please feel free to contact one of our Executive members or join our Facebook group.
